• CLASS POLICIES • Please review before registering •
• All guidelines & mandates regarding Covid-19 will apply; please wear a mask & maintain social distancing. We will make every effort to keep our classes distanced, etc., but each attendee is responsible for their own health & well-being.
• Your payment guarantees your place in class.
• If you cannot attend a class you have paid for and it is more than 7 days before class, you will receive a refund. If less than 7 days before class, if we can replace you with someone from our waiting list, you’ll receive a refund, otherwise not. (You may send someone in your place.) If class is cancelled due to weather or other unexpected circumstances, class will be rescheduled.
• Class supplies will be available for each class. Pick up a supply list when you register. Some materials may be included in your class fee; others must be purchased prior to the first class. Class supplies purchased at Yellow Dog will receive a 10% discount. (Not all items included.)
• Due to copyright laws, if a book, pattern or template is required for a class, each student must purchase his/her own copy. There are no exceptions.
• As a courtesy to all, please no children, guests or pets in class. Some classes are specifically tailored for children; this will be noted in the class description. Be sure your child knows how to operate a sewing machine & use tools safely. No children under 10, please. All minors must be accompanied by an adult.
• Plan to arrive 15 minutes before class to set up.
• Be familiar with your sewing machine: know how to thread it, wind and load a bobbin & sew basic seams. Be sure your machine is in good working order; we do not offer diagnostics or machine repairs. Remember the foot pedal and power cord! Bring basic sewing supplies, plus extra bobbins, thread & machine needles.
